]]> Erik’s MOOC  “Financial Sustainability: The Numbers Side of Social Enterprise” was singled out by former Business Week editor John A. Byrne as among the best MOOC courses in February 2015.

“Financial Sustainability: The Numbers Side of Social Enterprise” is offered through pioneering impact investing organization Acumen. The course walks through a 4-stage bottom-up modeling approach developed by Erik that shows how to bound the business unit, calculate the business unit’s “whole cost structure,” and then back out a required price/margin for profitability.
